MARQ - UI / SW issues

Decided to start a fresh discussion where everyone can post frustration with the UI, Widgets and/or software glitches.

I think Garmin shall really step up their game and address most of the annoying little bugs which I wonder how they even shipped a product on first place having all these issues.

1. Here I start with some annoying UI/ Widget POOR graphics, when I say poor, I kinda mean it, my 8 year old can draw better using his hands.

2. Now on the software side,I already mentioned that my Aviator is missing important for me widget, the ABC. Had the device reset few times paired with different handsets but that widget simply doesn't exist.

3. In addition, one of the most-frustrating issues is the fact I need to pair and setup the watch with Connect App every time I power cycle it.

I am not even going to start the titanium bracelet discussion but for $2000 watch.... this is what you get after a week of use, USE and NOT ABUSE !!!

I have very few complaints so far.

My widgets in the Expedition have better quality than what you’re posting.

However, all of the pre-installed watch faces, aside from the primary one, are terrible. I deleted them immediately.

Im also not impressed with the leather band that came with the Expedition, but I already have nice straps from other watches I can use that look great.

I like the expedition strap, but sometimes would like a slightly different leather color. The strap does become quite comfortable once it breaks in and I particularly like how thin the keeper loops are as those sometimes bother me on the Garmin silicone straps. The silicone strap that comes with the expedition isn't my favorite. I feel like it is just a touch stiff and miss the more flexible material of the 5x plus strap. That said, it probably is going to wear better and the way it mates to the watch body is more premium.

That darker brown strap you have on yours looks very nice.

I have no complaints about the widgets on the MARQ either, but having come from a 5x and 5x plus i think i knew what i was getting into here.

About the graphics on the Expedition: can confirm the same thing, but only happens after using/viewing a CIQ widget or watch face. Without those, everything looks fine.... So yes, a bug....

Regarding the titanium bracelet scratching, how did it happen? What type of material was it in contact with?

The only thing that I recall the bracelet rubbing onto is my wooden office desk....

This UI glitch is present on the Athlete as well. Garmin-Heath: Is the dev-team aware of this? I think it applies also to the workout pages when doing a training - the lines between the data fields are ugly thick as well...

Hi, just use the blue side of a normal rubber...and you get rif of those scratches ;-)

did it on my marq expedition...not for polished sectors...but for satin/ brushed...perfect.

i did it on my steel wristband: perfect

For all of you with the same experience: after a second reboot (simply shut down and restart / no reset) the glitch (see pictures in the topics first entry) disappeared and cannot be reproduced.
