First Hike With The Expedition

Did my first hike with the expedition last weekend. Around 4 hours in Navigation mode. All sensors were turned on to collect data every one second. Lost 21% battery over the course of the hike.

Very impressed. The watch itself feels sturdy and looks rugged. (Especially with a vintage leather strap I put on.)

I’m getting a Tempe for more accurate temperature readings, I felt the Marq was a bit high.

Note: disregard laps, I kept messing with buttons and accidentally hit the lap key a few times by accident.

Awesome, I plan on taking my Expedition out on a hike asap! Watch looks lovely! Temperature readings show your body temperature, rather than the ambient air temperature so a Tempe is always a much better…

It’s not that it’s reading body temp, per say, just that body temperature affects the reading.

Wow, that’s a great hike and love the view of it. I got the Marq Athlete and Captain, but thinking to return the captain and keeping the Athlete instead.

Why return the Captain- liking the Athlete better? Personally, I knew I liked the Expedition best from the first time I saw it but the Driver looks stunning too.

Strap looks great- which one is it (unless you are looking to keep it to yourself hehe!)

Not really like the cloth strap comes with the Captain and noticed the Captain is a bit thicker than the Athlete. The biggest drawback is the watch face is kinda distracted. I know someone who got the Expedition which his bezel already showing scratch which mine Athlete still looks brand new.

Yes, the Athlete's bezel is DLC and the Expedition's isn't. Still, I already have the means to polish scratches when they appear so not too fussed about that.

Scratches give a watch character too ;)

%21 in four hours is great. I wonder how it will change after getting the tempe, as it'll require the ANT hardware to work.
