Greetings community,
I am having an issue with my new MARQ Aviator, just over a week old. Previously I owned a Delta / Charlie so I am familiar with the interface and functionality.
Here is the issue:
When using Navigate - > Flight Planning - > Find Waypoint - > Search by Ident.
After entering an airport identifier (for example, CYYC or YYC but I also tried many from around the world), the watch immediately restarts and the startup screen is displayed.
No software updates available through Garmin Express. I reinstalled all the maps and reset the watch to defaults, issue persists.
Contacted Garmin support via email, was told it would take 5-10 business days for a reply.
Do I have a defective unit? It would not make sense for a flagship device to be shipped with such a serious software bug.
Could someone kindly try the above on theirs and let me know what happens.
