Latest run

Here is my latest run with my Expedition. I am quite happy with the watch outside a few small bugs I have come across.

I also feel that the GPS performance is quite a bit better than my old Fenix 5 Plus, let alone battery life.

Check out my running activity on Garmin Connect. #beatyesterday

  • Was that done with an HRM-Run? Does it need a battery change? The reason i ask is because all the running dynamics were dropping out on that. Do you by chance run with your phone also connected? If so, can you try a run without? I'm curious if the old bug from the 5 Plus days where running dynamics would drop with a bluetooth phone connected has come back.

GPS looks really good for that area. Stryd also doesn't seem to be dropping at all.
  • I am not seeing any drops on my end?

I just bought the red HRM-Run two weeks ago and I would suppose the battery doesn't need changing.

It's weird that the graph looks different on GC vs GC mobile

NYanakiev7, do you mind sharing the original fit file
so we can have a look at it with the ">FitFileRepairTool">FitFileRepairTool or upload the fit file ">here(fit2tcx)">here(fit2tcx) and share the url
  • I was about to write almost the same thing as OnlyTwo but offer to load it in to my DCR Analyzer account. The run dynamics show up in the developer tools graph there and it quickly reveals if there are any gaps in data (or if it’s simply some bug with the GC website).

I think GC Mobile as a rule filters out drops in time series and doesn’t render them unless those drops are real bad and there’s not much to graph. Had issues with sensors on Fenix 5 back in the day and a dying battery on H10 later on. The charts always looked perfect on mobile, and then there was a nasty surprise when I opened things up in the browser.
