Let us share some enthusiasm about this gorgeous watch coming our way.

Here is my story; being an old Omega Seamaster owner, I was actually looking for something alike in quality. I looked at Omega, TAG Heuer and alike. However allthough all these watches are very nice, each and every time I came to the conclusion that I can't live without 24/7 HR and smart notifications. I am a passionate athlete; so I much like to keep track on my resting HR. And that's actually it - none of the premium brands I looked at deliver that.

And then Marq is being launched - just in the middle of my search :-) What a funny coincidence! Cause BOOM - this is just what I was looking for. Mann that was a sweet surprise :-)

Since I am an athlete, I ordered the Marq Athlete version. That watch has exactly what I want. Really nice materials, 3. gen OHR, and smart notifications. Plus add to this - all Fenix' functionallity, a speedier processor and 12 days battery.

Oh yeah!

Despite being expensive - and please don't get me wrong here - I think this is bang on. I don't mind paying premium for premium. Yes - one could argue the display resolution is not high enough. Personally I would have liked to see HD graphics. But honestly said - that's not the deal breaker for me. The materials are though. And this is where I believe Garmin did the right choice. Premium materials with long battery and an OK display.

So I can't wait to get mine :-)

What about you? What version did you buy?

  • Here's a SHOUT-OUT WARNING for JURA WATCHES in UK...!

8 days ago I cancelled my order with them. Written them many mails about where is my refund. All of a sudden, replaying takes looong time and I get #we have 3-5 days expedition time"...

Yet today, I have no sign of my refund yet.../&%!/%#!

They keep blabbing of with BS. I have now filled them to Paypal as they still don't have the watch in stock.

Poor company for such a cool watch. Don't buy there. I imagine how a quality issue will be handled... :-(
  • Teriemer that doesn't sound too good, does it?! How did you place the pre-order- credit card/PayPal?

Are you considering ordering anywhere else or just given up on the idea of buying a MARQ?
I have also been considering cancelling my order, which was placed via PP.

I am a little surprised as I have generally seen good feedback about Jura Watches.

EDIT: Sorry, I see you also paid via PP.
I am still undecided only due to the fact that I got a 23.5% discount by mistake.
  • At the moment I'm not planning to order again. I may end up waiting for Fenix 6 or 945 and see what they're like...

Indeed - you're right about the good feedback. As long it is about your order, what type of model and that stuff; feedback is very good. But the second after I cancelled, I have had nothing but BS from them. We all know that issuing a refund only takes a 1 second. So why are they dragging this out in forever?

This is extremely bad as I see it... :-(

I gave them plenty of notifications about filling them. But now - 8 days later - my patience is gone :-(
  • Hope it works out for you. I will wait for US dealers to get stock.
  • I contacted Jura for a partial refund of the preorder money. They are refunding £1000 from the initial total payment of 1224.
Let's see when I get the funds.
  • Honestly, people are probably better off waiting anyways. How many times have we seen new models come out with “quirks” in the beginning? Those are on watches that are 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the MARQ series. It may be better to wait a bit so things can get worked out.
  • Just checked, as I’m a Garmin Dealer and as of this point the MARQ series is only available to limited dealers as of this point.
  • The discount I got was reduced from 23.5% to 15% as I expected.
I ended up requesting a partial refund so now I only have a 10% deposit in place.
  • I am thinking that it might be wiser to wait drvera
