dog tracking widget not working.

Instinct solar Dog tracking worked with my old alpha 100. Just replaced the old alpha 100 with a new refurbished alpha 100. Now when I go to my dog tracking widget it says searching but will not pair and after awhile goes instinct goes back to main screen

So I contacted customer support and they figured it out. I went to forget transmitter and then restarted the widget. Basically I had to tell watch to not look for old alpha and to pair with new one

Does it use the same units if you change to Metric?

I can't help at all, but this would be an interesting test..
