Garmin Instinct Esports - Heart rate problem

Problem with high, intermittent heart rate and watch freezing during GPS activity.

In a normal run, my heart rate is too high and I cannot work in the range of 130-150 heart rate because I would simply have to walk very slowly.

GPS activity may hang on the screen and only turning the device off and on helps

I have tried uninstalling Garmin Connect and installing and resetting the watch to factory settings and the problem still persists.

170 bpm at moderate effort looks like so-called "cadence lock", a common problem with optical HR sensors. It concerns some people more than others, not because the hardware is faulty, but because of a different physiology. Adjusting the tightness of the strap can sometimes help, but the only certain remedy is using a HRM chest strap.

strangely enough, during strength training it is difficult to maintain the heart rate of 111 to 130, it is lower during strength training and strength training is more strenuous for me
