Backlight not working

Just got this watch this past Tuesday and absolutely been loving it but I’m pretty bummed because the backlight seems to have just given out completely. Yesterday I noticed that it wasn’t turning on the backlight when scrolling through some of the screens before bed (not during do not disturb hours) and all of today it has not worked either. Going into settings and changing the backlight % brightness changes nothing either, just the regular dim screen. Any ideas?

  • If your backlight issue is a hardware failure, it will not resolve but you can turn your watch off then on again and try both reset options.

    Please try the following:

    - Soft reset your watch by holding down your top left CTRL button until your watch shuts off then let go of the button.

    - Reset to Defaults through your System > Reset menu.

    If your issue continues, please do not hesitate to return your watch back to the vendor to get another new one. My sincere apologies your new Instinct had the failure.
