Hi,
I have been using Garmin Instinct for about 2.5 years.
I rode(MTB)/walked with it in various locations, often during training sessions where other Garmins were used and the elevation indications were usually quite similar on different devices.
For some time I have noticed, on let's say "permanent" training routes, that the watch shows much higher elevation gains than usual (sometimes at least twice as much).
Looking for the cause, I cleaned the holes from the barometer as recommended, re-calibrated the altimeter, compass and barometer and it seemed ok, but after 2-3 trainings, the nonsense started to appear again.
I turned off the barometer, re-calibrated, and happened to go to Mountaints for a week's vacation - and there the elevation readings seemed roughly right.
I returned to the home and the alitemeter failure began to appear again - I caught the watch that I was going down and it was making up the elevation gains...
Currently, it has GPS + Galileo set, for the test I changed it to one or two workouts on Glonass, but it was the same or worse.
The problem is only with elevation gains, the distance is correct.
Factory reset didn't help.
Whtat else i can do with this?
