Dual Grid in Tactical Edition

To those who own a Tactical Edition, could you please inform us about the practicality of the GPS formats and how are you able to save such data and view them during your activities?

There is almost no info whatsoever in that regard anywhere in the web!!

I have an I2XT (used to own an I1 years ago). The Dual Grid is a display only feature when selecting the hot key associated with Dual Grid for any watch type; tactical or otherwise. The Tactical Profile also includes a data screen that will display both location formats at the same time. Can't remember if the I1 includes the Tactical Profile (newer fenix/Epix/I2s do). Any location saved to the watch is stored in a Garmin specific format not in multiple formats. As far as I know there is no way to review a saved location in a Dual Grid view.

There may be CIQ apps that will if you own a CIQ capable watch. Otherwise you can submit an idea on Garmin's webpage.
