When will Garmin fix the defective firmware?

It's been a month and unless I've missed something, all I'm hearing is crickets. I am growing concerned that Garmin has dropped the ball on this one. I don't understand why they don't roll back to the last fully functional (non-defective) version of the firmware until they figure out how to fix it. It seemed that in the beginning there was a failed attempt to fix it, but that was weeks ago. It would be really nice if Garmin updated its customers regarding the status of this and explains what its plan is to fix this.

I completely agree. The problem with the far too high intensity minutes is also according to Garmin's own information known for months. But they give no information when the problem will finally be fixed. Since I do not want to falsify my statistics, I have now for months the "activity tracker" function of my Instinct Solar disabled. Absolutely unsatisfactory.

And after months of waiting without any information about it, you wonder if the developers are still working on it at all. I am ready to wait for a fix. But if it takes this long, I would like to get a proactive Information on the part of Garmin. But since I have been using all watches of the fenix series and other series since 2016, I have unfortunately never experienced this. Errors can creep into any firmware, but Garmin should deal with it openly and informatively. THAT is a point that Garmin can improve significantly.  Also in the sense of binding the customer to the company.

In my experience, Garmin is the company with the best customer service. But the worst at proactive communication on firmware issues. There is a lot of catching up to do here.
