Watch does not update

I downloaded the 18.01 beta update and installed the gupdate.gcd file into the garmin folder on my instinct but nothing happens.

The watch consumes the file without updating.

Any suggestions ?

I bought the watch in South Africa so it should not be a apac version.

I’ll drop the local agent an email.

I also have a struggle for same issue. you might be check the region. Garmin strangely support only one region and the others just give the customers "useless link".

Hello, maybe a strange question, but are you sure that you have a instinct and not e.g. a solar instinct? had the exact same issues until i realized that solar and solar instinct have different update packages..

Hi Schnufa, yes I have a solar instinct. I was not aware but I suppose it makes sense. Is there a fix for the solar instinct ?
