Text notifications on my Venu 2 Plus

Hello

I get all social media notification - WhatsApp, email, messenger etc. but not texts, i can also answer calls from the watch. I have an iPhone 11 and went to the messages / notifications settings switched to always and everything ticked as they are on the Garmin, i had the same issue with my Vivoactive 3 but obviously could not answer calls with that.

Does messages not work with an iPhone?
