Garmin Instict doesn't have support for Connect IQ which is a requirement for adding data fields from Connect IQ.
I guess it is this data field you should add to a supported watch: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/da1c7c4a-8c7c-4c34-a9a6-a3984c2ad227
Maybe you still can connect the shoes as just a foot pod. No idea what data you will get since it isn't the intended use for the shoe sensors.
Thank you @e7andy. Sad, Instinct cannot add fields. The shoe is pretty fast to connect to my watch. It shows connected.... but no use as there is no additional data.
I use the data from mapmyrun app of underarmour.
Thanks for your prompt reply.

Consider upgrading to Instinct 2. Visually the same watch, but it has practically all what high-end watches like Fenix have (except of music and maps). And, of course, it supports Connect IQ, so you could visualize 3rd party data fields with it, too.
