What are the correct stress level categories?

Hi!  I'm new to Garmin.
Started wearing a Garmin Instinct Solar and after a few months of gathering data I'm really starting to get into understanding more about its functionality.

For clarification, can someone tell me what the correct categories of stress are?

Garmin's site from 2020 states:

https://www.garmin.com.my/event/2020/immunity/#pressure

0-20 low
26-50 moderate
51-75 high
76-100 extremely high

Garmin Support center site states:

https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=WT9BmhjacO4ZpxbCc0EKn9

0-20 rest
26-50 low
51-75 moderate
76-100 high

Various sites advise to monitor levels above 60, which they consider high - so I'm a bit confused.

Thanks so much!

  • The Support Center article was written specific to our watches but both articles give the same overall advice. In the end, your own stress level is subjective and will be different for everyone. If you were to pay for expert advice and hire multiple trainers at your local gym, the advice given will be somewhat aligned but not exactly the same advice. It will depend on their assessment for your age range and overall health.
