Instinct Solar and HRM-Pro

I am interested to find out how the HRM-Pro deals with the data collected during an activity when it is connected to an Instinct Solar watch with Ant+?

I understood from the forums, support and other sources that the Instinct Solar is not fully compatible with the HRM-Pro, but it will share the live Hearth Rate values with the watch.However I did not find any information what happens with the other data collected by the HRM-Pro. In my understanding they are not shared with the watch.

My questions:

1. Will the HRM-Pro store the collected data until it is connected to the Garmin Connect app from my phone? Will these data downloaded to the Garmin Connect app?
2. Will the Garmin Connect app sync the two sources of data?

1. It will collect the following data only: heart rate, calories and steps. No running dynamics.

Just additional information: The Instinct 2 is fully compatible with the HRM-Pro => Running dynamics can be displayed real-time during running activity and later review in GC.

Dan.Boilermaker How do you know that the Instinct 2 is fully compatible with the HRM Pro? It's not listed as compatible on the HRM-Pro information page and for me it doesn't measure XC skiing power data.
