Instinct v16.00 not connecting to a non-Garmin ANT+ cadence sensor

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a Cycplus cadence sensor to my Instinct and the procedure always finish with error, telling me no sensor was found.

I can connect successful with my bike GPS using ANT+ protocol.

Tried to find info about compatibility but only found the information that Instinct can connect to ANT+ cadence/speed sensor.

Am I doing something incorrect, or my sensor is incompatible with the Instinct or do I have a faulty unit?

Unless the sensor you bought is known to be problematic, the software for ANT+ being used on your Edge Cycling device is the same for our other devices such as your Instinct watch. Since your sensor connects…

Unless the sensor you bought is known to be problematic, the software for ANT+ being used on your Edge Cycling device is the same for our other devices such as your Instinct watch. Since your sensor connects to your Edge but not your Instinct, try using the "Search All" sensors option vs. specifically using the Speed/Cadence sensor category to see if that resolves your pairing issue.

Thanks Chris. I did it, but the watch cannot find the sensor's signal. I think is a compatibility issue or the watch issue. The problem is I don't have a way to test it because I don't have any other sensor.
