Issue with heart rate sensor..!!

I have Garmin Instinct Tactical, I noticed that my heart rate sensor stops for a short period while the green light at back is still on and after few minutes heart rate sensor again starts showing data. Why is that happening and what is the solution?

Does only your OHR metric showing on your watch face go away but your watch is still recording?

Does only your OHR metric showing on your watch face go away but your watch is still recording?

Your watch has a power saving feature that will make the seconds go away along with viewing your OHR sensor activity but your time continues and your OHR readings being recorded while you wear your watch continue to be recorded.

The way you can tell if there is a potential OHR sensor hardware issue or not, is to review your OHR readings on your Garmin Connect account. If those brief periods of times you are referring to do not show missing chunks of OHR data on your account, then everything is fine.
