my garmin instinct is stuck on an hourly alert message. I have tried to hard reset by holding back/set button, but that is not working. Is there any physical hard reset button?

I plugged in my Instinct to recharge yesterday and a few hours later, all my instinct showed me was an hourly alert at 19:00 hours. I have tried to restart but the buttons are not responsive. Any suggestions on how to hard reset beyond holding the set/back button?

If the hourly alert issue continues after the Hard Reset forced your watch off, you can also try fully resetting your Instinct too:

- Hard Reset: Hold down your top left power button until your watch shuts…
