Trim Activities Question

I've tried to trim an activity to increase time or distance but each time I try to change the start or end time or end point of the activity, I'm told it can't exceed the original total, start or end time or end point. What might I be doing wrong? Thx.

It sounds like you are trying to extend either the start or end point? The trim can only shorten your activity, not extend it.

OK thanks that clarifies for me. I was trying to extend a hiking activity because auto pause had stopped after 5 seconds or so, missing the beginning part of a hike, which is why I've now turned off auto pause because it doesn't work properly.

You can adjust the speed at with auto-pause is enabled/disabled in the auto-pause settings menu. Personally, I don't use auto-pause for any activity and just let Stava sort it out.
