There is no wrong answer to your question. It depends on how you choose to go about it.
You can either choose to use any of the existing outdoor APPS and adjust the data fields and use it each time, copy any of the existing APPS and rename it, or make your own custom activity APP for when doing that specific activity you have in mind.
