Garmin Instinct - Elevation graphic issue?

Hello there,

I noticed an oddity during my outings in the wild. when I go out I use the tracks created on the garmin site (.gpx) and load the track on the watch so as to have a distance and the complete elevation plan that I see CORRECTLY.

Often, halfway if I view the altimetry it is no longer complete but "flat" and zoomed in preventing me from seeing the complete track altimetry. A mistake or am I not understanding something? Thanks!

Since there is no map on your Instinct for it to use for your course elevation, it sounds like something went sideways when you created the course.

Looks like I had the same before. see link.

I did not try auto-pause on because it is quite annoying that I keep getting vibratoin/sound when I take frequent breaks hiking with kids. Today again it happened to me flat line during my hike.

yes, like this. but in my case is more zooming in the flat zone...

i read on you your post an answer by user who said "probably flat zone because you rest during hike" in my case is wrong because the course programmed before the hike, at home, and then i go out so the the elevation graphic is of the path..without my breaks/pause...(that I don't even know where they will happen)
