Wheelchair activity

Hi! I am a wheelchair user and I have a Strava account. Some challenges list wheelchair as a type of the eligible activity. Is there any way to set the wheelchair activity on this watch? Or do you just choose run/walk instead of the wheelchair activity? Adding the handcycle activity would be also nice. Thanks for your reply.

    You will use the Cardio APP or any other activity in your watch. Keep in mind where you are using your wheelchair for cardio purposes will come into play too. If you are indoor, the Cardio APP will work well. If you are outside, be sure to use an outdoor APP if you want the GPS provided metrics too.

    Can you please add/create a wheelchair activity. I've been a Garmin user for years. I came in 2nd place in my age group in the Garmin half marathon in Kansas City in 2021. I lost my left leg above the knee in July of this year due to cancer. Now I spend quite a bit of time in a wheelchair. I like to get out and I'd like to be able to track my activity.

    Just log it as a Run. Or create a Wheelchair activity profile yourself, as a copy of the Running activity. An additional advantage of using Running is, that you will be awarded all the Running badges, and can participate in challenges.

    Alternatively you could use Cycling, if you use a speed sensor on your wheelchair.
