unable to reset instinct

About 4 days ago, instinct (1.5 years old) switched to a garmin logo on the screen.

I did a soft power off and then it was a blinking garmin logo, eventually hour later coming's back with the wrong time, once synced to my phone time was correct.

battery proceeded to die super quick

did an overnight charge

and it died again within 6-8hours

over night charge and nothing still dead

pugged in to computer, back is super hot and nothing on the screen.

absolutely my favourite watch I have owned but don't know how to fix it I have tried to do all of the different resets as well.

I'm really no expert, but hot sounds like a defective battery, and kind of dangerous. You could try holding the top left button for a long time, with the watch restarting, while charging, to reset the charge counter. No guarantees.

Perhaps ask Chris for the details.

I have tried that with no lick something just seems wrong with it
