Twice in a row in separate activities my watch lost its signal after I paused it during my runs. I suspected that something was off because my pace went from 5.35m/km to something like 12m/km. Anyway when I realised it I stopped the activity via Resume Later, waited until it locked position again and then resumed my run. The weird thing is that after I resumed, the latest locked position is not linked to the place that I paused it but rather to somewhere 1.5km before that.

In both activities you can see where I paused through my pace graph, however it seems like the signal was lost sometime before which I don't think is true because my pace and milage were consistent up to the point where I paused. I know that because I run regurarly this closed loop around my town. I guess something corrupts a set of data when I pause.
I always plug the the watch to Garmin Express for Windows before my activities, I always delete all activities after sync, keep my phone with data connection and wifi off. Watch is set to GPS only and every second recording. Finally I let it soak for a good minute after GPS lock.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
