Texts vibrate at night? How to enable sleep mode?

Hi,

I have a garmin instinct and I can't seem to make it so that at night, the watch won't vibrate when I get a text. I only want to diable that during night hours. I have my night time hours between 10 pm and 7am but that doesn't seem to fix the issue.

Any help?

On your Garmin Connect mobile APP, select your watch on the top of the default My Day page. Under Sounds & Alerts, you can enable "Do Not Disturb During Sleep" then sync your watch. You will now be good…

On your Garmin Connect mobile APP, select your watch on the top of the default My Day page. Under Sounds & Alerts, you can enable "Do Not Disturb During Sleep" then sync your watch. You will now be good to go while sleeping. No more alerts to wake you up.

Thanks, but when I look this is enabled and I still receive alerts... Any tips?

hmmm... That doesn't add up. Ensure your Instinct software is fully updated. We have not seen any reports for the current version of software ignoring the setting but I have seen such a bug in the past on another non-Instinct series so anything is possible.

On your watch, you can try a soft reset holding down your top left CTRL button until your Instinct shuts off. You can also try a reset through your System > Reset menu.

Your software version should show 14.40 when you go to Settings > About. If you continue to have issues, please send me a Private Message by highlighting my name and using the Send a Private Message option. We will get it figured out together.
