v13.20 Steps Graph Not Updating?

Actual step count appears as expected and seems correct. AFIAK, all other watch function OK - Reboot does not fix...

(Often set the watch to "Locked" due to overly sensitive buttons but this option does seem related)

Thanks,

Bob

  • Hi Bob. I am sorry your steps graph is not updating properly. Please try soft resetting your Instinct by holding down your top left CTRL button until your watch shuts off, then let go. If your issue continues, it could be that your specific Instinct went sideways with the update. We have not had other reports of step graph issues from Instinct owners worldwide.

I hope your issue resolves with the soft reset. If it doesn't, you are welcome to contact Outdoor Wearables Product Support.

  • This is an issue that I have had on my Instinct since I bought it. I've seen several other reports of the same firmware problem, which is still present in firmware 18.10. I'm no longer under the illusion that Garmin will fix this. Best bet is to choose a watch face without the graph.
