Instinct does not connect to smart phone anymore

Since a few weeks my Instinct does not want to connect to my smart phone anymore.

I give in the code that I get from my Instinct into my smart phone, but the app Connect does not show any activities or my day. My watch is always saying "trying to connect to smart phone".

I neither can get notifications of text messages or incoming calls on my watch.

When I bought this watch, all functions worked, but now nothing works anymore!

Have you tried to do a Bluetooth re-pair between your watch and smartphone?

If that doesn't work have you tried to reset your Instinct first?

The watch and the phone are connected with bluetooth, but the watch and the Garmin app are not pairing, not even after I have done all the steps mentioned in "Pairing your smartphone with your device" and "How to reset my garmin instinct watch".

I deleted also the device and tried to add a new device. This doesn't work either. The app is continuously looking for the watch, but doesn't find it, while the watch is looking for the app and says "Download the Garmin Connect Mobile"...

Nothing works!

Did you try restarting the Connect app or deleting the app from your phone and then re-installing it?
