Instinct GPS recording stopping during activity

I wear my Instinct watch on my left hand and on several occasions, the action of my wrist will press the GPS button and stop the recording. I think this is what is happening.

Has anyone else had this problem and what is your solution?

I could:

a) Wear the watch on my right hand during activities.

b) Lock the buttons. But can this be done after the GPS is started?

Others?

Neither are great, but doable. Just a design flaw I guess.

Yes. If you use the button lock function, since it is a long hold of your top left CTRL button to engage the lock, it can be turned on after you started the activity.

Yes. If you use the button lock function, since it is a long hold of your top left CTRL button to engage the lock, it can be turned on after you started the activity.

This still doesn't prevent the GPS from being stopped. I do plenty of sports were either i have jacket cuffs/gloves and/or bent wrists and it is amazing but even the button lock function fails from time to time. Disappointing. This should be improved to either require a button combo (one from each side) to be pressed simultaneously to unlock or just buttons that cannot be so easily pressed unintentionally.
