how to charge Garmin instinct tactical without a laptop?

I have a Garmin Instinct Tactical watch and a cable that plugs into a laptop. However, where I hike, I do not take a laptop. Can I plug it into an USB cell phone plug that connects to a 110 outlet?

Yes. As always, test your cable and adapter before you're "out there."

Depending on where you're hiking there may or may not be an AC outlet. When I hike I always carry a standard USB power bank for my smartphone, Instinct and other such devices.

When you plug the USB cable to power source 5V without USB signals, you will see this change:

At least on the original Instinct. I am not sure what solar version shows.
