Battery drain

Hi, after 1.5 years of use I have a problem with the battery life. I usually charge once every 2-3 weeks, now I charge the watch in the morning and in the evening it reports a low battery. No activity only smart watch mode with heart rate measurement. SW version I have 14.20

Any idea what might be wrong?

  • My husband's Instinct is having the same issue.  day 1 seems to be ok, but day 2 and the battery drains completely.   He could go 2 weeks before.   I did a reset as instructed here with zero results.  I'm unsure what to do but it's very frustrating.  

  • Hi! I am facing the same issue since a couple of weeks.. I have purchased my Instinct in August of 2019.. worked flawlessly until a couple of weeks or so.. battery has been draining within a day! 23.5 hours to be exact (I turned on stopwatch and checked). I contacted Garmin support and they asked me to Reset + Software update using Garmin Express etc.. NOTHING WORKS.. now i am sure i have not done anything to the watch as we are in Lockdown, here in INDIA.. been indoors for more almost a month.. :(
