Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

13.81 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed course navigation issue where the course would not be found again after going off course.
  • Fixed Explore Sync issue where course distance and time values would be 0.

For any issues that you encounter, please send an email to [email protected]. In your email please include the software version, and a detailed description of your issue, along with any steps to reproduce. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.

  • After this upgrade I still have issues with Explore App (Android 2.18.0). When generating a route in Explore and syncing it to the watch I still get the 0 distance time issue and the course is also not displayed on the watch. Workaround is to go to Explore on the Internet, convert the route to a track and then sync again. The watch now has to "0" route and a correct track under courses.

  • Trackbac navi is broken in 13.81. It points to a false start point, the progress graph is not correct, it's basically useless. Please at least fix the basic features  of the watch

  • My experience so far: Watch got incredibly slow while navigating around 15km. Before reaching 20km it completely stopped responding to any input. Had to let it run out of battery. But even then, it would always get stuck at the Garmin logo at startup. Only a hard-reset with complete wipe of the watch helped.

  • I should add. The gpx file that i used for navigating was around 1.1MB in size and previously recorded on the same Instinct. My guess is that it has to do with the size of the track. However, even if this is the case, the watch shouldn't go to a state where I have to hard-reset it and wipe it completely. It should rather prevent me from using such a large track OR stop recording before it freezes forever.
