Instinct fails to sync with Explore - probably 13.20 firmware issue

Hi everyone, 

Since update to 13.20, instinct fails to sync with Explore app (iOS). When it comes to sync of waypoints, "Sync failed" message appears, although there are no waypoints at the band at all. 

I tried every solution explain at the forum so far, including band reset, deleting settings, reinstalling apps etc. Nothing helps. 

Is there anything aI can try to resolve the issue? 

  • I have had a similar issue before. The problem was caused due to naming a waypoint or route with non standard ASCII characters. I ended up manually deleting all waypoint courses from watch and explore app. Afterwards it worked. This is about a year ago. Not sure if this is your issues.
