The first and most important thing during a setup is setting up the correct language!
Not everybody will be able to understand english - Expacially in the arabic world, or china!
I am german and glad to have learnded some pieces of english - But I am angry, too!
Because this is the third time that updates will "kick me out" of ragular operation.
The garmin devices are not "Toys" at all... so we do not have to play with them: They are serious equipment for adventure usage.
My friends: It is not acceptable, if you are standing in the middle of nowhere with nothing more than a small mobile phone in your backpack...
Why important settings and downloads are not able to be done with "connect"?!
Now I have to wait until I am back at home to fix this issue. Today it is only about "language" and will be hopefully fixed this evening. But if this is something else which stops the Equipment operating like expected (maybe a lost map on gpsmap Xyz!!!) this is an inacceptable issue!
Please take more care for the mean reason the equipment have been build for: Useability during adventures far away from PC, MAC, etc...
Question is: Is a better workflow planned in fututre, the connect APP will give you the same features (over bluetooth! - You may not have a cable during a weekend Trip?!) the Express APP will give you on PC?
