Run function error

I start run function yet Post run my activity shows as starting nearly a mile into the run? This has happened three times in the last three/ or four weeks? I’m checking the timer at regular intervals on the run and that appears to be working ok?

Hi there, this has worked for my last two runs Took a minute or so to pick up the signal, I don’t suppose you know why it would be struggling to pick up the signal? - thanks again.

Yes, I do. One possible reason is that your EPO file was outdated, or that you've lost the connection to your home WiFi, and the phone was not connected to the mobile data yet, hence the update of the EPO file failed. Another possibility is, that part of the sky was obscured by buildings, the terrain, or a dense vegetation.
