Battery

I’ve just got a Garmin instinct solar and I’ve got a ? (Question mark) beside battery level? Which is showing for a couple days!!

Anybody able to let me know what that (? Question mark) means, please? Cheers

I am afraid there is no answer to your battery asking a question. I have never seen a ? across the 5 Instinct watches I maintain nor have I personally come across any such reports. Checking all worldwide…

Hi Chris,

thanks for yr time. So I’ve followed up the steps and it’s back to normal after a full reset. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

I am afraid there is no answer to your battery asking a question. I have never seen a ? across the 5 Instinct watches I maintain nor have I personally come across any such reports. Checking all worldwide reports, no report seen.

Handle the ? mark as you would with any abnormal behavior if it takes place. Check if it remains in between each troubleshooting step.

1) Power off and on

2) Soft Reset: hold down your top left CTRL button until your Instinct Solar powers off, then let go of the button

3) Ensure your software is fully updated. When you go to Settings > About, it should show version 12.20

4) As a last resort, fully reset it by going to Settings > System > Reset > Delete Data and Reset Settings
