Instinct and Steps Data Fields

Has the Instinct been upgraded with a Steps Data Field option in the Walking Activity app? As of 3 months ago when I still had one, it had not been and I was curious now that I came across one on sale for a really good price and was considering buying another one.

You can use the Steps widget whenever you want to see the number of daily steps, even during a Walking Activity, but I do not see Steps as a custom field in the options for activity screens, on my Instinct.

If you want to see the steps, press the BACK button, then scroll to the Steps widget. I have it just below the main screen, so need to push just two buttons to get to it. Press BACK again if you want to come back to the Activity screen that runs in the background.

Once you open the Steps widget, it stays on the screen indefinitely until you stop the Activity - there is no timeout after which the screen would jump back to the main face. That's in the contrary to widget screens when not in any activity - in the non-activity mode, they time out after 2 minutes, and the watch comes back to the main face. No timeouts in Activity mode.
