I am new to this forum and seeing the post about the firmware update I connected Instinct to my PC to see what version I have. On my first try the PC gave me a message saying it did not recognize the USB device. The cable terminal is a new type to me and it appears to be symmetrical, in other words it will plug in either side up. Garmin Express could not find the Instinct so I disconnected and turned the terminal around. This time it was quickly detected by Garmin Express. This seems like a bad design for a terminal. Has anyone else noticed this or did my PC just have a temporary glitch.?
