My instinct has stopped recording sleep and HR at night

From the 8 days ago my Instinct stopped recording sleep. I wear it all the time, only take it off to shower. More recently my watch no longer records HR at night either. I’ve retired the settings in the watch several times, deleted it from Connect and reinstalled, even uninstalled connect and reinstalled but the problem remains.

  • Looks like you created a new acount by mistake (using the Sign Up button instread of Sign In) and have the device still associated with both of them. Carefully follow the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing to resolve the issue.

My guess is that the following user profiles are both yours:

I’ve done what you said but, I can only see the one account? I signed out of the account I normally use and signed back in but main account was the only one I was offered to sign into?

I chatted to Brett online yesterday and he said my instinct wasn’t set as my preferred tracker (it wasn’t) and by doing that it would solve the issue? It didn’t, still no sleep or overnight HR data.

Can the second account not be deleted? And if not why not?
I’m getting really frustrated with this, the watch isn’t doing what I want it to do, it’s getting to the point I wished I never bought it, never had this problem with previous Garmin

  • I still see two accounts:

Follow again and carefully all the instructions from the document linked in my last post. I have no idea how you created the second account, but it is still there. You can delete it at www.garmin.com/.../, if you remember the email address you used for creating it, but from what you tell, it looks like you don't. Make sure not to delete the acount you want to keep.

People with the same problem, even those who claim to have only one email address, often use different domain name variants at the same address (for example [email protected] for the frst account, and [email protected] or [email protected], etc.).

Contact Garmin Support again, if you are not sure what you are doing, explain them that you have two accounts, and ask them for assistance.

I’m getting really frustrated with this

Well, I feel sorry for you, but you cannot blame anyone but yourself for the creation of the second account.
