Clock faces? Is development of Instinct software apps not a priority?

I just purchased an instinct.  I needed a watch which would monitor my pulse ox and blood pressure.  Is the instinct able to monitor body temperature as well?  I had a hard time pairing the instinct.  After going into garmin connect and the iq store, it appears that their is not a lot of development of apps for the instinct?   Is this due to the software build for this watch?  Not many clock faces?  I needed to get a durable watch.  However, I do not want to buy a dummy device that has no development being worked on this watch?  I was in my first structure fire wearning it yesterday.   I haven't checked my data yet, but the blood pressure helped to let me know when I was able to cycle through again.   I could not tell if the pulse ox monitor was working or not?  If development is not a focus, then I might as well go with a different device?

It has a temperature sensor, but it is greatly influenced by the ambient temperature. You'd need to cover it with a good insulation, and possibly placing it on a different place than the wrist, to get the true body temperature.

Instinct does not support the Connect IQ technology, hence you cannot use any IQ extensions. That was a decision made by design. One of the reasons is that Instinct was desgined as low-power device with long battery life, so all unnecessary features consuming power, like the IQ extensions, or even the VO₂ calculation, were removed.

Not sure what you mean by blood pressure, since Instinct does not measure it. Perhaps you got it mixed up with the heart rate? Or Body Battery? Or the Stress level?

Not sure what exactly you mean by the development, but as for now Instinct gets new firmware updates around each month or two. And the interfaces for Garmin Connect are being developped and improved permanently too.
