Any having an issue with clock stopping?

A couple of times now I have looked at my Instinct and the watch is stopped. I stare at the seconds counter and there are no updates. Each time I have turned it up and back on. Correct IT response, right!

It does have the current software.

The seconds disappear after 30s of inactivity (at lower battery, the time is ~15s), to reduce the battery drain due to the display refresh. That's by design.

This behavior has been reported in this forum since V11 (see a post titled "Randomic freezes," for an example. I myself experienced it, but not since I installed V12.10 beta. Are you still experiencing it on version 12.20? :(

When you say "inactivity" do you mean "as it is sitting on a desk"? Just sat my Instinct on the desk and waited. I saw the seconds cease to be displayed. Cool, learned something new!

This is not what happened. My seconds stopped updating while on my wrist. I was able to video the lack of updating.

I do not know the version. I installed the latest update yesterday so I will watch for freezing again. No pun intended!

You can always check your software version in Settings - About.

Let's hope these freezes are gone for good. :)
