Body Battery Freezes

I had updated my Instinct to version 11.0 and had the random freezes as previously posted. I have rolled back to version 10.1 and all seems better, except that the Body Battery occasionally freezes a 5, a flat line with no recovery for sleep. Power cycling the watch causes the Body Battery to function again for a couple of days. Anyone else with this issue?

I don't think, it's an issue. I'm at home with Covid infection. For about 3-4 days my BB was 5. Now I'm getting better, and my BB normal again.

No, it actually froze. I power cycled the watch. The Body Battery reported measuring and then immediately jumped from 5 to 52.

Of course it jumps immediately. Because with power cycling, you erase the last approx 6-12 hour's data from it. And it starts from a random approx 50 percent...

I guess that makes sense. If the internal value of the Body Battery (or its equivalent) is allowed to go negative, but the displayed value is clipped to go no lower than +5 that would explain the behavior. Lets say the internal value of the body battery is -50 but the display shows +5 then 7.5 hours of sleep might bring it up to 4 but the display will still show +5, and it won't move until the internal value gets above +5. BTW sorry to hear about the Covid infection, glad you are getting better.

Thx! We are getting better, the whole family! On a busy week, when I have a lot of night shifts in the ER, my body battery stands at 5 ( that's the lowest number, there's no 0) At first, I thought it was a mistake, but when I stopped power cycling the watch, I realized, that after a few days it starts to elevate again. And low body battery is well correlate with illnesses and alcohol intake too!

This time the body battery definitely froze. The watch was stuck at 4:40 AM this morning when it was actually 8:30. Changing screens caused the correct time to show. The body battery was flatlined at 13 for at least the past 4 hours. It is now 10:00 pm (14 hours later) and the body battery is still flatlined at 13. Heart rate is functioning.
