My Instinct worked great for about 9 months but about two months ago it began erasing lap swim workouts in the middle of the workout. I'd swim a set, press GPS to pause, and the screen would go blank. I worked with Garmin Support through a procedure that fixed the problem by erasing files. That worked for exactly one work out, then during the next workout the same problem returned. I exchanged my Instinct for a new one under warranty and the new Instinct does the same thing. First time out it is fine, next time out it fails.
