System Software 11 for APAC Units

Hi there.. so.. I just need a confirmation, so no one from Garmin knows when the APAC units for the Instinct are getting the System Software 11 Update?

Garmin does not announce the dates of releasing software packages in advance, so you will have to wait till it is available. However, since there are some bugs in v11, and the v12 should be released soon…

Garmin does not announce the dates of releasing software packages in advance, so you will have to wait till it is available. However, since there are some bugs in v11, and the v12 should be released soon, it is possible that Asian Garmin will release the new APAC firmware only once the v12 APAC is completed. That would mean a few weeks after the official release of the non-APAC v12.

So I guess I should be thankful that v11 didn't release on APAC models then? More waiting I guess...

how to know if you're Instinct is an APAC unit? I'm from southeast asia and I have the v11 already installed

Long-press the MENU button, go to Settings » About. APAC would stand on the first page, if I remember well. Alternatively, connect the watch with the USB cable to the computer, open the file //GAARMIN/GarminDevice.xml in a text editor, and look up the tags <Description>...</Description>. At APAC version, there would be Instinct APAC. I cannot verify it, since I have the standard version, so the name can slightly differ, but another Instinct APAC owner coud confirm it.

Also, it'll say so in Garmin Express for your device.
