Elevation / barometer issue since 10.10 upgrade

Hi,

I live in a city so at home the elevation is around 110 meters and it has been consistent under the previous versions.

Since the 10.10 upgrade I see that elevation is always off by +/- 30-40 meters.

After a calibration via DEM it resets to the correct altitude and also the barometer data is updated (to a correct value, I check a weater station nearby).

However, after a few hours or half a day, the elelvation weers off significantly.

On the other hand I see that the barometer value is not chainging even a bit, in some cases for days, unless I do a DEM calibration again.

I understand that recalibration is necessary (I do it before every hike) but if the date gets messed up in a couple of hours I don't think that is reliable.

Wondering if anybody has the same issues since 10.10?

Ahh just figured, elevation is relative to the pressure, so all changes in air pressure will be measured as an altitude change.

Also the watch can be set the other way so air pressure will be relative…

Just be aware that when you fix it on the air pressure in the Baro mode, elevation changes will not…

Just be aware that when you fix it on the air pressure in the Baro mode, elevation changes will not be registered, so whenever you are going to do an outdoor activity, or even when you climb floors indoors, you need to change the mode to Elevation or Auto.
