A way to show time while on stopwatch mode?

Yes, exactly in this way - the stopwatch is still running, and you can switch between the time, and the stopwatch anytime you want. I do not think you can get the time on the stopwatch screen, if you mean that.

Yes, that is correct sometimes I use the stopwatch and need the time displayed at the same time.  Hope Garmin can make an enhancement to that feature.

I agree it's weird that they've included current time in countdown timer but not in the stopwatch, I've sent them my recommendation but I don't think they'll ever fix it.. You can try too here: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/ The more the better.

You can create your own activity and select the following parameters in the data screen setup: time of day and elapsed time. The stopwatch will start counting down and show the current time.
