Auto Detect of Activity with Instinct?

Hi,

My wife has the Vivoactive 3. With her watch, if she just starts going for a walk, after awhile the watch will detect the activity type and ask her if she is "Walking" or whatever the watch thinks she might be doing.

I have the Instinct, which I love, but if I don't turn on my activity of walking or running, and just do an activity, it doesn't track it. Is there a setting or something that I need to enable to get the watch to detect it? I have the moveIQ setting on, but I don't think that does it...

You cannot do it on Instinct, AFAIK. The Move IQ automatically detects activity patterns if they last at least for 10 minutes,and you can view them on your timeline on GC, but they do not appear on your activity…

The specs says the Instinct series has it.
