Instinct - 10.10 Public Release Candidate

Hello Instinct users,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures! This is our public release candidate that is slated for release next week.

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

10.10 Change Log Notes:

Fixed issue where some language files may be missing after installing a software update. (Use Garmin Express to reinstall the lost language files.)

In your email please include the software version, and a detailed description of your issue, along with any steps to reproduce. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.

Due to hardware differences between Instinct and Instinct Solar, we cannot add battery percent to Instinct.

Unfortunately this update makes it impossible to record heart rate data while swimming. I know, Instinct doesn't support this, but till now there was a 'bug' where if you switched to the hr widget after…

Unfortunately this update makes it impossible to record heart rate data while swimming. I know, Instinct doesn't support this, but till now there was a 'bug' where if you switched to the hr widget after you start the activity, then the hr was counting and recording also appeared on garmin connect like on any other activity. I also found it to be pretty consistent (no big jumps and the average hr was what you'd expect for this activity)

Anyway, party is over I guess

Please add a battery % to the Instinct V 1.0 as you are with the V 2.0.

Also could we please get some sort of batterymanagment feature like:

-HR-Sensor only when an activity is running

- A reworked ultratrac with like every 10 sek a GPS point. Ultratrac as it is is pretty much unusable. But Battery with every second is crippling.

But in the „recovery mode“ also the v1.0 shows the battery percentage / voltage (from here you can calculate pretty easily.

Why is it shown there but not when powered on?
