Heart rate sensor does not turn off automatically sometimes after taking out the watch

Heart rate sensor on my Garmin Instinct watch does not turn off automatically sometimes after taking out the watch. Heart rate sensor lights at the back of the watch keeps blinking and I can see the watch showing some random heart rate. It’s happening to me after updating the watch software to version 7.10. Anyone else facing this issue?
