Second Hand Added to Analogue Watch Face Petition

Hi,

The watch face I am showing in the image is my favorite and I would like some things to be added to it. I would like a second hand, either as a new watch face with that added or the ability to choose it on this watch face (toggle it off or on). I also want to be able to see the seconds digital up in the circle. I know that you can see just the seconds, but I want to see hours:minutes:seconds.

Please vote for this so Garmin might implement it in a future update.

There is room for four digits…

There is room for four digits only, so it is physically impossible to display hr:min:sec in the circle

As for the seconds hand, that could be possible, but the frequent display updates would drain the battery faster, and that is also the reason why seconds disappear after 30-39s (with a fully charged battery, resp. after 15s with an uncharged battery) even on the digital face.

I have not changed any of the default watch face settings. I like it the way it was when I started it up..Anyway, the seconds never disappear under the latest firmware, (not beta). I have held my wrist still for many minutes, while resting on an armchair. And the seconds continue to work. I get really good battery life too. Usually, one activity a day at about an hour and it lasts about two weeks. Just love the Instinct.

Let it laying on the desk for 40s, I bet the seconds will go away on your watch too. On the wrist, you won't avoid a slight motion. The difference in power consumption is tiny, so the battery life is still good, but over the estimated bettery life of 2 weeks, the difference can make up to several hours, which may play a role if you cannot charge the watch easily on a trip.

I just took it off my wrist and set it on the desk. For 10 Minutes, I still have the seconds counting. You should try and duplicate. Default settings on main face with current Firmware, (not beta).

Interesting that on my wrist it doesn’t stop with the seconds. And this is obviously where I use it. Really, doesn’t save that much. As, I’m in constant motion moving my wrist and such. I usually power it down when I sleep.

It would be fine for it to be where I have notifications instead of the circle and I wouldn't mind more battery being drained. I really want this. Trux can you please share this or publish this as well so more people see it?

You already did, and Garmin developers would not see it better if I posted it somewhere. Besides that, I do not really need such feature. When I need to watch the time precisely, I use the stopwatch, or the timer. Just suggest it to Garmin via https://www.garmin.com/forms/ideas/
